Office phone booths: prices, classes and how to choose
A Re-Sound office phone booth costs from €2,740 excl. VAT without installation (Solo ECO), Solo Flex from €4,118.75 and a Modular XL meeting pod from €13,781.25. Below you find every price we publish, what is included, the ISO 23351-1 speech-level classes stated honestly, and how installation, testing and warranty work.

What is included in the price
Every booth ships as a complete, ventilated unit: shell with door and power at the desk. Solo ECO: a fixed standing table, a country-specific socket with USB-A and USB-C (socket only in Denmark) and ventilation up to 4 m³/min. Solo Flex: dimmable LED lighting, 230 V and USB-C, the manual sit-stand desk and silent EC fans moving 4.6 m³/min, with a PIR sensor that switches the fans on when someone is inside.
Installation by Re-Sound or self-assembly
Our installers place a call booth in about 60 minutes, a meeting pod in about 2 hours and a Modular XL in 2 to 6 hours. Installation by Re-Sound costs €875 for Solo ECO, €1,245 for Solo Flex, €1,245 for Duo and €1,645 for Modular XL plus €1,245 per extra element, excl. VAT; transport within mainland Europe is a fixed amount per model, listed in the table above. Solo Flex can also be assembled by two people in under three hours: the booth is a flat-pack construction, so it can be demounted and rebuilt on another floor later.

What the ISO 23351-1 classes mean
ISO 23351-1 measures how much a closed booth lowers the level of speech coming out of it. Solo Flex reduces speech by about 24 dB(A) and Modular XL by 25.9 dB(A): both are Class C. That keeps normal calls and video meetings from disturbing the floor; classes B, A and A+ reduce speech further.

End of life
A booth can be resold or taken apart for recycling: each material is recyclable.
Frequently asked questions about booth prices
How much sound does an office phone booth block?
Solo Flex reduces speech level by approximately 24 dB(A) according to ISO 23351-1, which places it in Class C: a conversation outside the booth sounds like distant murmuring inside. Modular XL achieves 25.9 dB(A), also Class C.
How much does an office phone booth cost?
The Solo ECO office phone booth starts from €2,740 excl. VAT and the Solo Flex from €4,118.75 excl. VAT. The Duo meeting pod starts from €7,612.50 excl. VAT, and Modular XL from €13,781.25 excl. VAT for the base module, plus €5,118.75 per extra 90 cm element. Prices are ex works. Transport within mainland Europe and installation by our own team are fixed amounts per model: Solo ECO €300 transport and €875 installation, Solo Flex €500 and €1,245, Duo €500 and €1,245, Modular XL €750 and €1,645 for the main module plus €1,245 per extra element, all excl. VAT; outside mainland Europe transport is quoted. The largest Modular XL built so far seats 20 people.
What does ISO 23351-1 Class A, B or C mean?
ISO 23351-1 measures how much a booth reduces the level of speech between inside and outside, and groups the result into classes: A+ from 33 dB, A from 30 dB, B from 27 dB, C from 24 dB and D from 21 dB. Solo Flex (approximately 24 dB(A)) and Modular XL (25.9 dB(A)) are both Class C. In practice, Class C turns a normal conversation into distant murmuring: clearly quieter, but not inaudible.
Can we try a booth before we order?
Yes. You are welcome to test every model in our showroom in Beveren-Waas (Belgium) before you order; visits are by appointment, Monday to Friday 08:00–16:30.
How long does installation take, and who does it?
Re-Sound's own installers place your booth: a call booth takes around 60 minutes, a meeting pod around two hours and a Modular XL between two and six hours. Installation by Re-Sound costs €875 for Solo ECO, €1,245 for Solo Flex, €1,245 for Duo and €1,645 for the main module of Modular XL plus €1,245 per extra element, excl. VAT. Alternatively, the Solo Flex can be self-assembled: two people need less than three hours.
Is the booth wheelchair accessible?
Not as standard: none of our booths is wheelchair accessible in its standard configuration. On request, we can modify a booth to make it wheelchair accessible. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
What is the warranty on a booth?
Every booth comes with a 5-year warranty on the structural frame and body, and a 2-year warranty on electronic components and other wear parts.
