rPET Panel is a rigid acoustic felt board made from 100 % recycled PET bottles. It absorbs sound across its whole surface, weighs a fraction of a wood-based board and is worked with standard workshop tools: saw, mill and drill it, then paint or UV-print it.
Re-Sound is a Stretch Group brand. We manufacture in our own plants in Beveren-Waas (Belgium) and Częstochowa (Poland).

Stock colours 01–10 are always available, from one panel. Any other colour is made to order: send us a RAL or NCS reference or a physical sample. Minimum quantities for made-to-order colours on request.
Made from recycled fibres, so slight shade differences between batches are normal. Order the panels for one surface together and mount them the same way round. The swatches are photographs: ask for physical samples before you specify.

PET felt is a porous absorber: sound enters the open fibre structure and is turned into heat. How much a panel absorbs depends on its thickness and, above all, on how it is mounted. Fixed straight to the wall it treats mainly mid and high frequencies; with an air cavity or mineral wool behind it, absorption rises sharply and reaches lower frequencies.

Measured to EN ISO 354 on 12 mm PET felt of identical specification (2.4 kg/m²); αw and class to EN ISO 11654, NRC to ASTM C423. 9 mm panel: not yet measured.
Reaction to fire to EN 13501-1 depends on the colour: white, grey and black reach B-s1,d0, all other colours B-s2,d0, in both the Standard and the FR version.

Yes. rPET Panel works like a wood-based board: cut it with a knife, circular saw, panel saw or angle grinder with a metal-cutting blade; mill shapes, cut-outs and grooves on a CNC; drill it and drive screws without splitting; paint it with water- or solvent-based paints, or have Re-Sound UV-print it.
Ten stock colours (01–10) are always available, from one panel. Any other colour is made to order from a RAL or NCS reference or a physical sample; minimum quantities for made-to-order colours on request. The same range applies to rPET Groove and rPET Flex Groove.
About 3–4 working weeks. The minimum order is one panel, prices are on request and delivery is EXW Częstochowa, Poland.
Yes, rPET panels can be both cut and painted. Cut them with a knife (even a ceramic kitchen knife), a circular saw, a panel saw or an angle grinder fitted with a metal-cutting blade. Re-Sound UV-prints rPET panels in-house, so you can order custom graphics, or you can paint the panels yourself and use them as a canvas for your own acoustic artwork.
