Nature, Refined

rWood - Panel brings the warmth and character of solid timber into a prefinished, ready-to-use format. Each panel is crafted from premium A-grade veneer, bonded to a high-density MDF core using advanced pressing technology — delivering the beauty of natural wood with outstanding dimensional stability.

  • Premium A-grade veneers — oak, walnut, ash, cherry and birch
  • 6-layer UV-cured lacquer for scratch and spill resistance
  • High-density MDF core (700 kg/m³) for structural integrity
  • Balanced construction — veneer on both faces for stability
  • No additional finishing required — ready from the box

Frequently asked questions

Where does the FSC-certified veneer come from?

Veneer is sourced from FSC-certified European forests (predominantly oak and walnut). The chain-of-custody certificate number is provided per delivery on request.

What is the fire rating?

It depends on the core. With the fire-retardant (FR) MDF core, rWood panels are classified B-s1,d0 under EN 13501-1; on a standard MDF core the classification is D-s2,d0. Specify the FR core for escape routes and public buildings.

What is the standard lead time?

Stock veneers ship within 3–4 weeks; non-stock species and custom finishes require 6–8 weeks. Production capacity is reserved at order confirmation.

How are rWood panels installed?

Two methods are supported: a hidden clip system for fast install and easy removal, or direct glue-fixing for permanent installations. Both are detailed in the installation manual.

What happens to the panels at end of life?

Re-Sound takes panels back free of charge across BE/NL/FR/DE/LU. The veneer is separated from the recycled-felt substrate; both streams re-enter our supply chain rather than going to landfill.
